UPDATED FOR YOUR APPROVAL: Omnipotent Chirp (aka omnipotentchirpcast, O'Chirp, Omni Chirp, etc) was created in small apartments in Brooklyn New York where 4 post college white twenty-somethings came together to try to add something new to the generally sterile podcast universe. Tim and Caitlin tried to produce their own podcast about 3 times (each one a bigger disaster than the last) and decided that they needed to bring in some big guns. Reaching out to good friends Peter and Katie, they instantly hit it off and the first time they ever sat down to do an episode together it just seemed to 'click'. Katie took on the role of editor/producer and added her own unique style of editing, choosing a more avant-garde (read: less direct) way of story telling which remains to be our stylistic choice to this day which, I think, makes us differ from than the rest of the ranty-no-point-podcasts ilk. 2 years later we're still working hard to push out new content on a semi-regular basis and are still living in BK, NY. We've made some friends through the podcast community and even reunited old friendships by old buddies discovering the chirp and contacting us. It's a hobby, passion, obsession all rolled into one.
