Unlike Katie, I almost never get out to the movies. Which is depressing since I went to Film School and should be somewhat informed. I mean, I think I got to an actual theater TWO TIMES IN 12 MONTHS! Yikes dudes. I did see two movies that I really liked however, Birdemic : Shock and Terror and Piranha 3D (boobs AND adam scott!)

The thing is I am a full time grad-student (wah), have a job, and an internship! I'M TOTALLY BUSY! When I have time off, I like to lay in my bed and watch as much Netflix as I can cram into my eyes. I get cozy and comfy, settle myself in for all the viewing pleasure I need.

Moon

This movie was amazing AND directed by Zowie Bowie. I can't. I can't even begin to describe how I felt while watching this movie. My emotions were on a level 20. HE NEEDS TO GET HOME!!!! THE COMPUTER IS A FUCKING LIAR!!!! If you haven't seen this, do itttttt!

House Of The Devil

So, I like may other teenagers, babysat through high school and college. I was a bit of a stoner and child care was probably the only thing I could handle doing (NEVER BABYSIT WHILE ON DRUGS!). Anyway, House Of The Devil is like all of my paranoid fears come true. It is scary and actually effective as a horror movie without giving too much gore visuals on screen. Check out the scene when she goes upstairs to the guest room and puts her ear to the door to hear better, I am still creeped out by that.

Frozen

This movie should have been called Wolves get angry if you ski at night.

Exam

I was really excited by the premise of this movie: a group of job applicants have 90 minutes to convience a corportaion that they should be hired BUT THEY ARE STUCK IN A ROOM WITH A PIECE OF PAPER AND CANNOT WRITE ON IT! Uhm, actually that sounds silly now that I write it but, I don't know it was sort of cool.

Hunger

Another movie about people trapped in a room. Booooooring.

A Prophet

I was really enjoying this movie and then Tim Farrell came over to my apartment to hang out. He wound up crashing on the couch and at some point in the night, replaced my dvd of A Prophet with some dvd of his own (don't ask me what his movie was, I have blacked out the memory). Can't really say anything beyond, this movie was good for the 25 minutes I saw of it? Brutal neck sliting scene.

Crazy Heart

Sobbing the whole time.

A friend told me about his boss seeing this movie on mushrooms and needing to take a three day break afterwards. I instantly forgot everything about this movie except, why did Sigourney Weaver's avataress have to wear a belly shirt? Like, wasn't she a fucking scientist?

Chloe

Yo, this movie gets sexxxxxxxxxxxy. The end makes no sense but it is sexxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxy.

Martyrs

If you have spoken to me at all in the past year, or even listened to the podcast, you have heard me rant about this movie. That is how serious I am about  this film! IT IS SO FUCKED UP!

The Crazies Remake

I don't really have anything to say, I never saw the orginal and Tim mocked me about watching this. Timothy Olyphant is a dream boat and....yeah I don't know. Zombies?

Lake Mungo

Totally fucking scary Austraiian horror film. I was at our friends Steve and Jen's wedding, bascially forcing people to go rent this film as soon as the ceremony was over. It is such a good movie that kind of makes no sense? I LOVED the parts about hypnosis. Oh man, I'm giving myself the creepers just thinking about it!

Daybreakers

In the words of my favorite Real Housewife of Atlanta Nene Leekes, "Ethan, you have DONE ME WRONG AS YOUR FAN( wife)" This movie had all the elements I need in a film: Ethan Hawke looking pained, distoypian future, vampires. Well, Ethan really dropped the ball. Way to go dude, get back to your Reality Bites roots and gain some fucking weight, you look awful.

Leap Year

I was depressed this day and this movie did nothing but make me feel dirty for watching it.

I'm Still Here

Why did they bother to do this?

I could keep going but I actually want to watch Chronos tonight before it gets too late. Let's just say I watched A WHOLE LOT of Obsessed, Hoarders, Intervention, and Buffy The Vampire Slayer. A lot lot.
